For a fat, liberating dose of inspiration, check out the long riff on Mondoblogo of chairs Italian Designer Gaetano Pesce painted in the nineties for his kids.

His “Open Sky” chairs are out-there, fun, wild, loose, and awesomely beautiful…

    I designed this chair with Mr Pesce and most of the Open Sky collection. I was there when Gaetano Pesce poured the resin, he actually made this one as a gift in 1999. His objects are like people, they have a skin they are flexible, not perfect and react to their environment.
