improvisation of the day: spread love!

spread love mother theresa yel bord

Maria Robledo sent us these words from Mother Theresa. They’ve been reverberating as we think of the people we know that really live them…wondering if we can find  —improvise— ways to do that daily.

If one wonders about “happier” , how to ‘do’ that, maybe just by meeting someone as who you are . taking a moment , offering some understanding, looking at someone (as in paying attention ); smile, be kind .. this kind of joy gets passed on so naturally .
Sharing an intense moment, too . It can be a relieve, maybe a little happier then . To not be alone and to be understood . Biggest gift .

PS. Did you mean “ we think *of* the people..” ?

Yes, I meant “of”. Thank you.
And thank you for your thoughtful words. Many paths to happier. Ally the ways you noted. And not judging, maybe, dismantling anger, taking a different path.

Yes, dismantling anger ; esp. important inside ourselves as it is often disguised ~ out of reach . But our actions tell, our words , looks and, eventually, judgments . Also of ourselves . Kindness begins with ourselves .
And isn’t that a different path, walking your own path ? Thus respecting that of the other as well .

Stopping before i sound like something out of a daily-quote calendar..

    over and out ,

(thank you for the inspiration , again !)

the trick might be to slow down enough from the daily rush to listen and understand the person. slowing down might be worthwhile by itself, and lead to kindness. thanks for posting this!
