We were thrilled to find an email from paper artist Matthew Sporzynski, aka Couturier de Cardboard (whose work we’ve featured in the past), that said simply XO from W23! with photos of his a la minute improvisation: a tablet stand. Of course, we asked for details:

“A random strip of aluminum” became curiously chic in Matthew’s hands.  It reminds us of how helpful it is to save random scrap if you have the room.  The basic design could be copied for phone stands as well…perhaps using wire…

(And we love Sally’s cookbooks placed “randomly” in the photo.)
