Lodge Pre-Seasoned Carbon Steel Skillet


We’ve long used well-seasoned cast-iron instead of nonstick skillets. But truth be told, they are too heavy for some. Enter another classic: the well-seasoned carbon steel skillet, a lighter steel with an even heat. This is the pan we gave our friend Holton Rower when he asked for a pan like the ancient French one he’d inherited from his mother, only BIGGER. 

These classic skillets come pre-seasoned in several sizes: 12″, 10″ and 8″ and, unlike their sister crepe pan, have enough depth to do some serious cooking. A set would make a great wedding gift.
