Solid Wood Platform Bed
When we were looking to swap out our steel bedframe for an inexpensive, sturdy wood one, we found the Nomad. We’ve been so happy with it, we’ve since bought another. It comes flat packed and can be assembled in 30 minutes. It’s clever design has a support down the center, but not a center leg, allowing us to store all sorts of items under the bed. The poplar smells good and is sturdy, unlike Ikea-esque steel or particle-board beds. We covered it with a linen sheet/dust ruffle.
And we’ve discovered, curiously, that wood is a much more comfortable sleep than steel.
