Leave it to the Bauhaus to put their unique design sense to Lebkuchen, the traditional German Christmas cookies similar to gingerbread. We found these images of LEAPING animals and humans at a great visual site about Bauhaus designer Gunta Stölzl. These were made for the “White Festival” 1926.

They’re an awesome reminder to let your imagination LEAP and soar and dance with ideas about even the most seemingly simple of creations. (Lebkuchen recipe here.)
