We can’t conceive of a world in which Martin Luther King Jr. had not played so powerful a part. He embodied stunning courage, perseverance and nonviolence against all odds.

His words continue to resonate on many levels and have proven to be enduring  guideposts for daily life.

“We must build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear.”

“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?”
