At poet Ocean Vuong’s tumblr, we found this mind-shifting post that he found at Nemophilies (Tumblr LIVES and remains full of revelations!):

Last night I took a walk between fields and forests and found nothing but poems

….FOUND NOTHING BUT POEMS…..    SO great!

Where in the course of a day or night do we find nothing but poems?

We’re thinking MANY places IF we look with poet eyes…

Here are ones we found in New York, the roughest of cities:

Tree in Tompkin’s Square Park/Sally Schneider

Tiny pink heart on subway car wall/Marella Consolini

Tenement covered in vines/Sally Schneider

“know hope” painted on a rusty door/Sally Schneider

Moon and evening star over Harlem/Sally Schneider
